We all loved our meal here. Service was excellent. The pork shank is worth the price or try the schnitzel.

The best German restaurant in the Annapolis area by a long shot. In fact, I would consider Old Stein to be one of the best restaurants in the Annapolis area period. Great German beers and a killer happy hour. Prost!

Traditional German fare. It's not for the budget minded but it's worth every penny.

If you're going on a day they have a special event, make reservations. They managed to get us a table that wasn't the best and it took a bit for the server to come say hi and get drinks. That said, once we got situated, the food and beer were amazing, the atmosphere was festive and our server was attentive. Overall, it was great and we're making plans to go back. Would have been five stars, if not for the initial hiccup.

Pretty good food and nice atmosphere. Benches in Beer Garten are very uncomfortable though.

Went on a Thursday evening and couldn't be happier. They have taken great care to make sure customers are socially distanced and comfortable. The staff was amazing and food was great as always.Great job adhering to all the new rules. Made me and my family feel very safe.

We arrived at this restaurant for dinner. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. We recommend this place to all.

Decor is really wonderful, especially outdoor seating. The potato pancakes with apple sauce are crunchy and flavored just right. The two beer samplers, light and dark, give an abundant amount. The softshell crab sandwich is good, but the fries aren't hot enough. The sausages are bursting in flavor, great sauerkraut, moist pork chops but just a tad salty.

Excellent selection of beers, wines and liquors. We get the same thing every time, and it is always delicious: Potato pancakes with their excellent apple sauce; cheese Spatzle that is nicely balanced between the salty ham and the savory cheese, and Schnitzel Cordon Bleu. Nice atmosphere, but try to reserve a table, the place is understandably quite busy.

Had a little tailgate to enjoy our wonderful Uber burgers while they were hot!

Very authentic cuisine that tastes amazing. Fun biergarten (beer garden) venue, ideal for groups, or just a night out. Weekends there is usually live music, and it's a great atmosphere.

Very good German food. As someone who lived in Germany most of my life it is good to get some good beer and food to make me miss Germany even more!

Great authentic German food that's tasty. Kids enjoyed the food and atmosphere too. They get crowded on weekends with the live entertainment so a reservation is good. I've been here a few times over the years and it's worth the drive for us to Edgewater. Beer selection is great on tap German and Austrian brews.

Lived in Germany for 3 years and this hands down is the best German restaurant you will find in Maryland. Highly recommend the old Stein sample, wurstplatte and German pretzel.

Wonderful food, great beer, and fun music. I do wish the music was not quite so loud though. Made conversation a bit difficult.

Our server, Barry and the team did an excellent job of making us feel like family. They went out of their way to accommodate a disabled friend of ours who had dinner with us. Prompt excellent service. Food was authentic and fabulous

A nice German restaurant down in Edgewater. Really convenient distance from Annapolis if you happen to be in the area. There wasn't any wait on a Saturday at 5pm, but it was still jam packed. Everything feels authentic! Though I can't verify due to never having been to Germany haha. Wait staff were very welcoming and the food was really quite nice. Great draft beer selection and a very charming atmosphere and decor. Give it a try!

This is a really fun place with good German food, a great beer selection. We enjoy sitting in the outside beer garden. The service is always excellent and the often have live music which adds to the enjoyment!

Schneider Weisse (the best wheat beer), sauerbraten, red cabbage, dumplings, and spaetzle finished off with lemon-honey creme brulee with candied almond slivers and homemade whipped cream. Good service. Reasonable prices.

We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. the staff members were so friendly and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this place very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

So happy to be back at the Old Stein. Service as always top notch. Attentive, informed and friendly. Some of my favorite beers on tap and the food...can never get enough. It’s a personal favorite for any occasion but especially the special ones. Recommend any night of the week.

The food is always delicious and the service is great. So relaxing sitting out in the closed off patio area. Love the potato cakea and the pretzel. Hubby loved the variety of meats and cheese on the various platters. Great night!

Great German food and awesome beer selection!

If you can sit it in the beer garten when there is love music you will feel like you are in a German pub! The atmosphere is rustic and quaint. The good is absolutely delicious! We've gone several times and have never had a dish we regretted! Service is always prompt and the wait staff is good! The band that plays is so fun and lively.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants, and the first place that will come to mind when we are in the mood for authentic German \ Bavarian dishes cooked with care. They have a restaurant, a bar, and an outdoor garden that is both sheltered and heated to enjoy almost all year round. The staff is friendly (trust them for suggestions if you are new. ) They also have a small gift shop if you are looking for a memento of your visit. Family friendly and can handle good size groups.

I arrive at this special place every couple of days as I love the good mood that is part of this place. The staff is very friendly and qualified. The service is exceptionally efficient. We just went there late for drinks and to hear the band. The place is really nice. Architecture is beautiful. The menu looks great and we are looking forward to going back for dinner.

Good Germain food and beer! Beer garden is great place to hang out. All the Germain standards like sauerkraut, spaetzle, schnitzel, etc. Everything is also available for carryout. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Can beer also available to go, crowlers too.
